THE WHILE I WAIT EXPERIENCE™

January 16–18, 2027

There's still work to be done.

The While I Wait Experience™ is a three-day, all-inclusive retreat designed for women who are ready to step away from the demands of everyday life and intentionally invest in themselves.

For one weekend, you don't have to plan the meals, coordinate the schedule, answer everyone else's questions, or carry the mental load.

We've taken care of that.

Your responsibility is simple: Show up.

Over three days, you'll have space to think clearly, ask honest questions, build meaningful relationships, and create a plan for what's next.

This isn't a conference, and it isn't a weekend filled with motivational speeches.

It's an intentional experience built around one belief: There's still work to be done.

Not work for everyone else. Work for you.

Who This Experience Is For

This experience was created for women who are carrying responsibility while continuing to build the life they know they're called to live.

Whether you're leading a family, growing a business, navigating a career change, pursuing a dream, or entering a new season, you know that growth requires more than ambition.

It requires time to think.

Time to reflect.

Time to make decisions.

Time to build relationships with women who understand what you're carrying.

If you're looking for another networking event, this probably isn't for you.

If you're looking for a room where you can step away from distractions and intentionally invest in your next season, we'd love to welcome you.

What You'll Experience

Every part of this weekend has been designed with intention.

Throughout the retreat, you'll experience:

  • Three days and two nights in a shared retreat home

  • Meals and refreshments provided throughout the weekend

  • A curated Bloom Bar experience

  • Painting While We Wait

  • Prayer Board Workshop

  • Guided conversations and reflection sessions

  • Dedicated evening Q&A with Somalia

  • Time to connect with the other women in the room

  • Space to rest, think, and plan without interruption

Nothing is added simply to fill the schedule.

Everything has a purpose.

What You'll Leave With

The While I Wait Experience doesn't end on Monday.

Every participant receives:

  • A copy of While I Wait

  • A copy of Built While Becoming

  • A private Structure Session with Somalia to organize your ideas into a clear action plan after the retreat

  • Access to curated resources and recommendations gathered throughout Somalia's own building journey

  • An invitation to the April While I Wait Alumni Workshop, where retreat participants reconnect, reflect on their progress, and continue building together

Our goal isn't for you to leave inspired for a few days.

Our goal is for you to leave with relationships, practical tools, and a plan you can continue building long after the weekend ends.

Your Investment

Shared Retreat Experience

$900

Reserve your experience with a $225 deposit, followed by three monthly payments of $225.

Only 9 paid experiences are available.

Because every woman deserves to be known—not just counted.

Why So Few Women?

The While I Wait Experience was intentionally designed to be small.

Small enough for real conversations.

Small enough for honest questions.

Small enough for every woman to be seen.

You'll spend three days with women who are building, growing, and navigating life just like you.

Many retreats end when everyone goes home.

Our hope is that this community continues long after the weekend is over.

A Letter from Somalia

I've spent years building businesses, raising a family, writing books, and learning what it means to keep moving forward even when the path wasn't clear.

One thing I've learned is that growth doesn't happen by accident.

It happens when we intentionally create space to think, ask better questions, and surround ourselves with people who challenge and support us.

That's why I created The While I Wait Experience.

Not to give women another event to attend.

But to create a place where they can invest in themselves, gain practical direction, build meaningful relationships, and continue the work that's waiting for them when they return home.

Because there's still work to be done.

And you don't have to do it alone.

I'll see you in January.
